CPGB-ML comrade Joti Brar will be driving to Gaza as part of the next Viva Palestina aid convoy.
The convoy sets off on 6 December from Victoria Park in Hackney, east London, and is aiming to cross from Egypt into Gaza on 27 December, the anniversary of Israel’s bloody assault.
As well as breaking the two-and-a-half year siege and delivering much-needed aid and vehicles into Gaza, the convoy aims to highlight the plight of Gaza’s 1.5 million residents (two thirds of whom are refugees from earlier wars waged by Israel against them).
You can support the convoy by donating to its funds and sending messages of support, and by subscribing for updates from Comrade Joti’s blog, Twitter account and Facebook group, which will be regularly updated from the road. The more attention that the convoy has while it travels, the less likely it is that the Egyptian authorities will try to stop it entering Gaza, so please do publicise these online resources as far and wide as possible.
